Hey! :) I have recently been invited to participate in a little question and answer challenge.
Anna and Malin have both asked me a few questions (they asked them in German, so I roughly translated them into English). Questions one to eleven have been identical and both of them asked them, but questions twelve to sixteen have only been asked by Malin. :)
1. When you were a child, what have you been wanting to become later?
When I was a child, I didn’t have any real future plans or job ideas, I only knew that I wanted to have own children one day and a house with a garden. :) I’m not one of those people who have been knowing their whole life what they wanted to be one day, I rather tend to see what comes and how my skills and interests develop.
2. What was the most important thing you’ve learnt at school?
I learned to focus on what’s important for me and I learned how to speak English. <3
3. How did you imagine you would be like at this age when you were younger?
I had no idea about how I would be like. At this time, although it hasn’t been a real future plan, I sometimes imagined myself to be a teacher. Maybe I’ll teach e-courses one day instead of teaching normal pupils at a school, I think this would be more fun… :)
4. What is your all-time-favourite-book?
‘To kill a mockingbird’ by Harper Lee. Fantastic book, you should read it! :) I love American literature, that is one of my favorite subjects at university.
5. What is your favourite quote?
I love this quote (and the extremely pretty illustration), because it's full of positive thoughts!
6. What was the last time you’ve been crying tears of happiness?
I’m really emotional and that happens quite often when I’m happy, but the last time I’ve been really, really, really crying tears of happiness was last summer at the Foo Fighters concert in Berlin, just the moment when Dave Grohl was entering the stage and they were playing the first chords… <3
7. What is your favourite city?
Berlin! And Potsdam! Ha, I love them both… But these are only my favorites of those I’ve already been to. I think there are some way more exciting places. :)
8. Where would you like to travel to?
To the US! I’d love to see New York and California one day, but I’m also dreaming of a road trip through the US. And I’d love to visit New Zealand one day.
9. What would you rather change in your life?
Nothing, I love my life! I’ve got many plans and ideas for how to improve my life one day, but these are all things on which I’m already working pretty hard.
10. What is your traditional Christmas meal (Ha, you see, it’s been a while since I’ve been asked these questions... Sorry for the delay! :))?
In the past, I loved eating poultry with red cabbage and potato dumplings, but since I have changed my eating behavior and have decided not to eat animals anymore, I substituted poultry with delicious homemade mushroom rissoles (soooo tasty!).
11. Whatever happens, what would you like to do this year?
I definitely want to visit my girlfriends who live far away from me and I can’t wait for these girl’s weekends! <3
12. Where would you be now if money didn’t matter?
My mother and I would definitely live closer to each other if money didn’t matter, but concerning a particular place, I’ve got no idea! Not, that’s not true, I think I’d have many idea, too many, but not a single one which instantly comes to my mind when thinking about this.
13. Do you still have your first cuddly toy?
Maybe in one of the boxes with toys from my childhood which my mother is keeping for me, but I never had a close relation to a certain cuddly toy. :)
14. What do you think about carnival? Do you dress up?
Irgs, I don’t like carnival, or to be precise, I do not like the German version. I don’t like too many drunken people in one place at the same time and I don’t like tasteless costumes. But apart from that, I loooove dressing up (and throwing costume parties…)! :)
15. What should everyone have experienced one day?
Real love! <3
16. Favourite blog?
Wowza, there are tooo many I read every day. If the question had been ‘name ten of your favourite blogs,’ this would have been way easier. My absolutely favourite blog is – surprise, surprise – abeautifulmess. :) In case there’s still a reader who doesn’t know this blog, make sure to check it out. :)
If you like to, I'd also love to hear the answers to these questions from Sammy, Vivi and Steffi, but of course it's ok if you don't want to! :) Maybe you can leave out question number 10... :)
